Passion

I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.

Creating Community

Leveraging Technology

Driving Social Impact

There's a certain magic in realizing that we're all cut from the same cloth -- not a cut above or below one another. So from chartering and leading a new rotary club which brought insightful young professionals together  to connecting nonprofits with volunteers, my life's work is in building a community greater than the sum of its parts.

"While technology matters, it is what we do with it that truly matters," writes Mohammed Yunus. I fell in love with technology for its ability to impact humanity. Pure and simple. Because whether it's a product or a service or a "hello" world, technology is essential in empowering people to solve the problems that matter most.

Impact is the very soul of what I do -I care deeply that what I do matters in this world. And that it's all about the people. Whether it's solving community problems via  engineering services, or creating avenues to empower kids, youths and senior citizens with technology, my mission to drive positive social change remains paramount.

I love taking part in forums  and workshops that focus on improving lives and communities with technology. I am a proud member of the civic innovation lab and recently I participated in a mentoring session which was chaired by the vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo, organized by the civic lab community

I am a proud rotarian and my involvement in this organization has helped a deal in shaping the woman I am today, a woman who is not afraid to lead and is constantly looking for ways to improve her community.  On March 15 2018, Rotary International Chartered a new club, Rotary Club of Abuja Capital-the new era ambassadors-and I was inaugurated as president.

Hackathon sponsored by the Rotary Club of Abuja Capital

I am passionate about projects that combine intelligent minds, the need to solve a societal problem, and of course technology. Under my leadership, a team of young professionals sponsored a 'hack-a-thon' which focused on developing a solution for reducing child labour in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria.

With some Polio suvivors on a recent 'End Polio' Campaign organized and sponsored by Rotary Internation, District 9125

This is a snapshot with some polio survivors captured during an 'end polio now' campaign in Abuja. There are many opportunities for each and everyone us to change lives and make a difference. Having little or no resources is simply not an excuse anymore today.Technology is transforming the world into a global village. Looking around our communities and simply raising an awareness of a community problem can easily draw people or organizations with the right resources to help.

I have learnt the french language for as long as I remember and I am member the Club de Clezio, a french community named after the french writer and nobel laureate in literature, Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio. As a community member I usually volunteer to promote the french language and community on various radio stations. This was taken at the arm forces radio station, located at the arms forces headquaters in Abuja, with a fellow club de Clezio community member.

I am a self proclaimed philomath and thus I am passionately curious and a lover of learning new things. Doing business in china gave me the strong desire to learn the mandarin language and its rich oriental culture. And so I have been a member of the china cultural center for some years. In 2017, I  participated in the world tai-chi exercise organized by the china cultural center Abuja. This is a snapshot of me receiving a certificate of participation by the director of the center.
